Birse Rail has successfully secured a two year extension to its Property Works Framework in Network Rail’s Western Territory.
The framework covers reactive maintenance works and project works to Network Rail’s properties in the West Country, Wales and the Marches including stations, depots, maintenance delivery units, offices and signal boxes. For reactive maintenance works the contract involves on-call cover 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year with response times ranging from two hours for emergency works to seven days for routine works.
This extension follows ten successful years of property works for Network Rail within the Western Territory.
